GOWI Privacy Policy

The purpose of this policy is to explain the types of information we obtain from users through the Research Covid-19 website and other channels, how the information is obtained, how it is used, how it may be obtained by others, and how its use and disclosure can be restricted.

Gowi may change this policy over time by updating this page.

Data we collect

The main information we collect is name, job title, email address and phone number. Gowi may use this information to make contact to further discuss (possible) interest in our company, platforms and services.

Those that complete the Demo Request or Contact Us forms agree that they are authorizing Gowi to contact them regarding their enquiry and to be added to our marketing mailing list about our products and services. They can contact us at marketing@gowi.rs in case they don’t want to be further contacted by Gowi.

Protecting Your Data

Gowi is committed to keeping your personal data secure and we will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorised use, disclosure or destruction. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee that any transmission of data is without risk. We have therefore implemented information security policies and rules, staff training on information security, and technical measures to ensure the integrity of data that we have under our control.

All our employees and contractors and data processors are required to keep such data confidential and not to use it for any purpose other than the performance of services we have requested.

Disclosure

Gowi will not sell individual information to any third parties. Gowi does not disclose personal information to third parties, except as set forth in this policy and in cases where Gowi, acting in good faith, believes that such action is necessary to conform to legal requirements or comply with a legal process, such as a search warrant, subpoena, or court order.

Use of IP Tracking

We currently use IP tracking technology (Google Analytics) to identify visiting our site and the pages that are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and it also gives us better insight into how we might be able to improve our solutions.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, visitors who use these links to leave our site should note that we do not have any control over those other websites. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information provided whilst visiting such sites as they are not governed by this privacy policy. Visitors should exercise caution and review the privacy policy applicable to the website in question.

Gowi is not responsible for the content of external internet sites.

Retention Periods

We have a data retention policy that ensures we don’t use or store your personal data for longer than necessary. We consider the following issues to determine retention periods:

  • Industry best practice recommendations;
  • The business rationale for collection and expiry of the purpose for which personal data was collected;
  • Our ongoing ability to ensure the accuracy of the data; and
  • Legal and regulatory requirements.

We may occasionally need to keep personal data for either shorter or longer periods than specified in our retention policy. In such circumstances, application of the retention period to the data will be temporarily suspended. The suspension of an applicable retention period will be carried out in a manner that respects the rights and interests of all persons concerned.

Children

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Children under the age of 16 should not use Gowi sites. In the event that we learn that we have inadvertently gathered personal information from children under the age of 16, we will undertake proper measures and activate internal processes to promptly erase such information from our records and environment.

We invite you to report to us any information you may have regarding this at privacy@gowi.rs so we take appropriate measures.

Your continued use of Gowi sites after any such updates take effect will constitute acceptance of those changes. If you do not accept any updates to this Policy, please do not use the sites.
